George Peck Public School

George Peck Public School Mission Statement: In a safe, challenging and active learning environment, we will promote academic, social and emotional growth and respect for self, others and the environment. We encourage co-operation and communication among students, staff and the community.

The Holland Bloorview Kids Rehab pre-school program, an integrated program for disabled and able-bodied children, has been located at the school for almost 30 years.

In July 2006, the Wexford Community Childcare Centre moved into George Peck P.S. Wexford Childcare, Holland Bloorview and George Peck staff work together as part of the City of Toronto's Best Start initiative, to help prepare our youngest students to have the "best start" possible to their school careers.

About Our School:
The school was built in 1955 and named after Mr. George Peck, a dedicated past Trustee and the first Chair of the Scarborough Board of Education. It is located in the Toronto South East quadrant of the Toronto District School Board.
